Who I am

I've run across countries.
Now I want to help you run further.

My name is Michael Larter. I'm from the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal and I've lived in Cape Town since 2018. Running changed my life when I needed it most and now I coach others to discover what they're capable of.

In 2024 I ran 772km from Cape Town to the Namibian border in 14 days, then completed the Ultra-Trail Cape Town 100 miler in 42 hours. In 2025 I ran the full length of Japan - 3000km in 73 days, solo and self-supported, pushing a pram.
